H hook
Worsted weight yarn
Tapestry needle

Directions:
Rnd 1: 10 dc in magic loop. Join with sl st. (10 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch2, dc in same st, 2dc in every st around. Join. (20 dc)
Rnd 3: Ch2, 2 dc in next st. *Dc in next st, 2 dc in next. Repeat from*. Join. (30 dc)
Rnd 4: Ch 2, dc in next, 2 dc in next. * Dc in next 2 sts, dc in next st. Repeat from*. Join. (40 dc)
Rnd 5-12: Ch 2, dc in every st around. Join. (40 dc)
Rnd 13: Ch 2, dc in same st, 2 dc in every st around. Join. (80 dc)

String:
Cut 3 pieces of yarn whatever length you want your string to be, then tightly braid it and knot it at the end. Trim ends, weave through round 12.
